I am lucky to have worked in multiple countries and different industries. I worked in small and large organisations, I experienced government, private and publicly listed companies, and I dealt with many international vendors and consultancy firms.
I started my career in the 1980s as a Computer Programmer on mainframes and midrange computers where I transformed business processes from paper-based to computerised processing.
Although the technical IT world was exhilarating, I found my passion in the splendour world of the project, people and business management. In my extensive journey I experienced ‘the good, the bad, and the ugly’ of leadership styles and ways of working.
I am always entrusted in leading ‘improvement’ activities, from enhancing project and IT management processes to recovering troubled projects, to upskilling talents. I also led large teams of experienced and amazing project professionals who enriched my thinking and exposed me to challenges I didn’t think exist. During my extensive career journey, I trained many aspiring project managers to achieve their PMI-PMP certification.
After years of honing my expertise in project management, I am excited to embark on a new chapter of sharing my wealth of knowledge and insights through teaching and training services. My journey in project management has equipped me with invaluable experience, and I am passionate about imparting these lessons to others.
As I transition into a role to focus on teaching and training, my goal is to inspire and empower individuals and teams by offering tailored and impactful learning experiences. I am eager to contribute to the professional development of future leaders, fostering a culture of excellence and success.
